On September 20, 2025, the Bee Home Project joined the Autumn Equinox Festival at the Sándorhomoki Kúria, a heartwarming celebration of creativity, community, and the harmony between people and nature. Set against the golden backdrop of early autumn, the event brought together local residents, families, artisans, and nature lovers for a day filled with music, color, and inspiration.

Building Bee Home Hotels – Creativity in Action

At the Bee Home stand, visitors of all ages — from curious children to experienced gardeners — were invited to learn about the essential role of pollinators and explore ways to support them. One of the most popular attractions of the day was our Bee Home Hotel workshop, where participants could build and decorate their own mini pollinator habitatsusing natural materials.

Each creation reflected personal imagination and care — some playful, others beautifully detailed — but all made with genuine enthusiasm for protecting bees and other solitary pollinators. The hands-on experience turned learning into joy, showing how accessible environmental action can be when creativity meets sustainability.

A Festival that Connects Generations

The atmosphere of the festival was warm and inclusive. Families worked together, children painted their Bee Home Hotels with bright colors, and grandparents shared stories about gardens and seasons past. Beyond fun and craft, the activity sparked meaningful conversations about biodiversity and local ecosystems — proving that environmental awareness grows strongest in community.

For the Bee Home team, the event was a wonderful opportunity to share our message: every small act counts. By creating pollinator-friendly spaces, no matter how modest, we contribute to a network of life that sustains both nature and humanity.

Gratitude and Inspiration

We extend our sincere thanks to the Sándorhomoki Kúria and the organizers of the Autumn Equinox Festival for inviting us, and to everyone who visited, learned, and created with us. Your energy and curiosity made the day truly special.

Each Bee Home Hotel built during the festival is more than just a shelter for pollinators — it’s a symbol of cooperation, creativity, and hope for a greener future.

Together, we are building not only bee homes, but a shared culture of care for the natural world. 🐝🌿💛
